Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice lip balm I use this product as my everyday lip balm, and I think it's okay. It doesn't moisturize the best, but it smells great and gives the lips a really glossy look and tints them slightly pink. Not greasy at all! (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lip Product This is the best lip product I've found, even better that Burts Bees lip balms. Got the set in the Christmas wand with 5 flavors lip balm for a super deal. also tried the Christmas apple flavor, same wonderful formula & results. Super moisturizing with no irritation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Lip Gloss | Not So Great Taste I bought this fun little lip gloss/moisturizer because I LOVE raspberries! I actually just realized that The Body Shop is about to discontinue their Raspberry line, so I have stocked up, ordering 2 of each product. This one is my first raspberry product from The Body Shop, and I have a couple mixed feelings. I absolutely love how this lip gloss/moisturizer smells. It does NOT smell like raspberries, but it is sweet and lively, so I don't have a huge problem with it. My main concern is with it's taste. I do not enjoy the taste of this lippy AT ALL. I put it on my lips, and once it gets into my mouth, I wipe it off and replace it with the Hemp Lip Conditioner, which also does not have a great taste OR smell, but it does really hydrate my lips. Also, I'm not completely sure how I feel about the consistency of this product... It is definitely glossy/sheer, but I never know what to call it other then a Lippy. (The only thing that the container says is "Born Lippy" and then the flavor.) I mostly enjoy lip products that are waxy or buttery, not glossy. Like an EOS, hence one of the reasons I really love the Hemp Lip Conditioner. Although it seems like I have said more discouraging things about this product then positive things, I do use this quite often, again, not as much as the Hemp Lip Conditioner, but I definitely try and find a place for it in my lip routines. All in all, I do enjoy this product, but I think you may want to use a tester in store to find whether or not all it's qualities are "for you". Would I recommend this product to a friend? It honestly depends on whether or not they like the taste. That's what it ultimately comes down to, for me at least.

  • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: The organic beeswax in our Born Lippy™ range has been produced in an environmentally sustainable way in the remote forests of Zambia by our Community Trade partner, North Western Bee Products. The wild bees visit flowers unspoiled by pesticides and pollution, and the beekeepers use traditional techniques handed down over the generations that rely only on the natural equilibrium of the forest. Mother Nature provides most of the tools they need to produce the beeswax, such as the tree bark they use to build hives for the bees. By using methods similar to the ones they used in the 1800s, the beekeepers are helping to ensure the preservation of the forest.
