I thought this would be great as I have dry, sensitive skin, but unfortunately it irritated my skin and yet never felt like it cleaned much.
I realize that cream cleansers are different than foaming cleansers or scrubs. I have used other cream cleansers and know that you don't get the same feeling, however this one felt like it left a lot behind. Perhaps it is just heavier than the other cream cleansers I've used, but it made me want to use a stringent toner afterwards which defeated the purpose of this type of cleanser.

I love so many products from The Body Shop but this is not one of them. This product does not actually cleanse - it essentially adds another layer on top of whatever is on your face. I just tried to use it to wash before bed & none of my makeup came off. Instead, I felt like there was a greasy layer now covering my makeup. I had to use a scrub to get it all off. I gave this product a number of tries but finally just threw away the more than half full bottle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jellokatt not too oily, not too drying
removes makeup well, and cleans skin nicely. not too drying, not too oily. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is because i think i got spoiled by the nutriganics softening cleansing gel. this is a close second though.

Refreshing, mild scent, good cleansing. I miss the mild exfoliating graininess of my old cleanser but decided it was worth the sacrifice for a more natural and ethical product. Seems to remove makeup well enough, but I only use make up a couple of times a week so I usually just exfoliate after washing it off anyway. Not sure it's made a difference in my fine lines - they always look pretty much the same to me unless I'm exceptionally tired.
