Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite face scrub I use several products from the Vitamin C line on my "maturing" skin, which has varying needs depending on the day. When it starts to look a little dull and has some rough/scaly patches, I use this scrub in the shower in the morning. The granules are very small and I don't feel like it's too harsh to use a few days in a row.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't rub it too hard! This product is great. I use it to exfoliate my skin. I use it at least once a week. A small amount goes a long way. Don't rub it too hard on your face so you don't get break outs! I love the smell of this product too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a nice product - won't spread acne! I bought this with the goal to minimize acne scarring but was also nervous about buying a more expensive exfoliator. With acne-prone skin I am so used to exfoliators only spreading breakouts. However, this product has the finest particles I have ever seen. I once used baking soda and it wasn't even this fine! Truly a wonderful product. Be sure to scrub gently and slowly - it does the work on its own!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for exfoliating dry and flaky skin! My skin type is very combination during changes of season - mostly oily, but extremely dry and flaky skin on my nose. This scrub is perfect for exfoliating dry and flaky skin! The exfoliating beads are very fine, so it doesn't feel too abrasive to the point of being painful. My face felt so smooth after I used this in the shower! The smell is pleasant too. I use this scrub 2-3 times per week. I bought this when it was on sale for $13.80, but I think the original price ($23) is a little high for what it is. Regardless, great product.

    Answer:
You could cleanse your face first, but for someone like me who has very dry/sensitive skin, I find it works best to just use this in the shower as part of my routine without pre-cleansing.

    Answer:
If I still have makeup/foundation on, then yes, I do clean my skin first. But, I don't know that it's required. Actually the microderm granules would probably do a decent job of getting the foundation off. But I bet it will do a better job of actually being a scrub and scrubbing off that dead skin cell layers if it's on clean skin.

    Answer:
Yes. And rinse with cold water to close the pores after. Then toner, serum, moisturize and eye cream.

    Answer:
Yes, but don;t use an exfoliator. Use a regular cleanser, and then this.

When you do use this, don't press hard on your skin. That can create microtears that can cause more damage. Use light pressure and rub it on your face with your fingertips in a circular motion for a longer period of time.

Afterwards, make sure you have a good moisturizer to use as well because it is going to do a great job of exfoliating your skin, but since it is taking off dead cells, it is going to dry out your skin a bit too.

    Good luck!!

    Answer:
Correct, or you can add a dot of this product to your regular face cleanser.. I prefer to use it that way since it goes on much smoother.

I accidentally ordered a different Vitamin C scrub than I have used in the past and it was orange in color and gel-ish texture. I am looking for the one that is a creamy off-white color and gritty texture. I know they changed the names of products along with the packaging, and I order once or twice a year when there is a sale, enough to last me a long time.
