How it works:

A cleansing ingredient made from Community Trade cocoa butter acts as a detergent that creates foaming, cleansing bubbles.
Community Trade organic soy oil is very rich in essential fatty acids that help to restore skin’s natural moisture barrier, so skin is softer and smoother.

The Body Shop® difference: Our cocoa butter is made from cocoa beans that we buy from our Community Trade partner, Kuapa Koo Ltd. in Ghana. The cocoa pods, which resemble a half-sized football, grow straight out of the trunk and thicker branches of the cocoa tree. The pods are cut by hand from the tree using a long-handled knife, and the beans are scooped out and fermented. After being dried in the sun, the finest beans are sent to Holland, where they are grinded and pressed into the cocoa butter that we use in our products.

After cleansing, exfoliate to remove dead skin cells two to three times a week, using Cocoa Butter Body Scrub. Moisturize with Cocoa Butter Body Butter or Cocoa Butter Hand & Body Lotion.
