The Body Shop sources this oil from handpicked lemons from trees that grow abundantly in the Italian Riviera. The luscious oil is obtained by cold pressing the lemon seeds that are leftover from the fruit processing industry, seeds and oil which might otherwise go to waste. The products also feature a range of moisturizing Community Trade ingredients, such as cocoa butter, shea butter and soy oil which helps to support marginalized communities around the world, by ensuring the producers get a fair deal for these high quality natural ingredients.
