Rated 5 out of 5 by Best smelling shower cream ever!!! This is by far the best smelling shower cream I have used! I cannot get enough of this fragrance line. After using the shower cream I follow up with the body lotion and body mist to make it last longer. The shower cream leaves me soft and smelling great even after drying off. The only downside is that the suds don't last too long so I have to use more than I would like. In this case, the bottle should be a little bigger. Other than that, it is a great product. I recommend it. March 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Winner for bath and Hands This is great for the whole family. Super non soap so non- drying and light smell. Is a luxury feel for all family members. So glad I tried it. Leaves skin soft and moisturized! July 24, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by For a soothing shower I have drier skin but live in a moist, humid climate. Many moisturizing body washes leave a strange film that I would later sweat off and still have dry skin. This shower cream feels like it actually conditions my skin. My skin feels clean, but not tight or slick. June 27, 2012

    • Sesame Oil

The silky sesame seed oil in our products is cultivated in Achuapa, a community nestled in the hills of northern Nicaragua. The Juan Francisco Paz Silva Cooperative (JFPS) sow and harvest sesame seeds by hand, then carefully press and filter them to produce a rich, high quality oil. JFPS was set up by Nicaraguan farmers in 1990 to combat a dwindling local sesame market, and has now grown to a 275-strong cooperative recognised by UNDP and Oxfam as a pioneering business model. Through trade with The Body Shop, JFPS has been able to establish and strengthen their global sesame seed export business, as well as funding community projects to help improve sanitation, build new roads and enable women to set up their own businesses. • Shea Butter

Our Community Fair Trade shea butter is sourced from northern Ghana, where it has been used for centuries to protect skin from harsh Saharan winds. We work with The Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association to produce the rich shea butter we use in our products. The Body Shop provides the 528 women of the Association with a fair wage, and also pays a premium for the women to invest in community projects. Anita Roddick placed our first order in 1994 after an earlier visit to Ghana where she discovered the natural moisturizing properties of shea butter and the amazing women who produced it. • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: The shea tree grows wild across West Africa, including northern Ghana. But as the economic importance of shea has increased, villages have become increasingly protective of their trees. The women of the Tunteiya Shea Butter Association now need to walk greater distances to find free shea nuts, as well as now walk greater distances to buy shea nuts to process into butter. Because they purchase shea nuts from families who are too cut off to supply us with butter, the benefit of Community Trade is spread more widely, providing a greater number of people with vital income.
