Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely Smell, Great Exfoliator Satsuma is a beautifully scented product and this body polish is a great body exfoliator. It made my skin feel very soft and of course, smell great! I will definitely purchase this product again! May 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love love love! This lathers up well and smells heavenly! I don't find it excessively scrubby, but it gets the job done and I'll keep buying it just for the scent alone! February 1, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Works Very Well I used this for the first time yesterday and I was amazed. I felt so clean afterwards and the scent wasn't overpowering. It came in a gift set that included a little loofah (lily) and the loofah did such a good job at exfoliating my skin. I had previously never used a bath lily before thinking that they wouldn't do a good job of exfoliating but the Body Shop lily seems to work great! November 4, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nothing special I use this product nearly everyday, mainly because I enjoy the scent so much, which smells like an orange Tootsie Pop to me. Even though this is a staple I don't find it very exfoliating at all and alone it does not make a good cleanser. It wasn't rough enough, thick enough, or textured enough to exfoliate my skin. Answer:
Yes, you would use this in the shower. It's best to moisten your skin & what I usually do is turn the shower off & use the body polish to get rid of all the dead skin. When you finish just turn the shower back on, rinse & ta-da, luxurious feeling skin!!!!

    Answer:
It is for use in shower, as it supposedly foams up. It absolutely needs to be rinsed off.

    Answer:
This is a scrubby body wash you use in the shower or bath. It works best with a shower puff, sponge, or wash cloth.
It has some lather (suds) like a body wash, but it also has scrubby particles to help remove rough, dry, or dead skin.

    • Honey

We source our Community Trade honey from the UNESCO Sheka Forest Biosphere Reserve in the southern region of Ethiopia, where African bees distil the nectar of rainforest flowers to create a distinctive floral honey. To collect this precious honey, we work with the ‘bee whisperers’ of Beza Mar, a group dedicated to improving the livelihood of Ethiopian beekeeping communities and maintaining their traditional, natural way of working with bees. Our Community Trade honey skin and hair care products aids miniaturization for soft, smooth skin and hair.

  • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: The organic honey in our Satsuma Body Polish comes from our Community Trade partner, North Western Bee Products in Zambia. Beekeeping has been a traditional activity in the region since the 19th century that has been passed down from father to son. But as a reliable market for organic honey continues to grow, North Western Bee Products is helping to facilitate women’s rights. Between 2002 and 2004, 500 out of 2,000 new beekeepers were women.
