Our Community Fair Trade sesame seed oil comes from seeds grown and processed in Nicaragua. These are planted by hand, sun-dried and sieved the traditional way. The co-operative cleans the seeds and grades them according to end use. The higher-grade seeds are pressed into food-grade oil, which is the oil we use in our products.

The Juan Francisco Paz Silva Co-operative produces our Community Fair Trade sesame seed oil. Trade gives its 275 members a regular income and has helped to fund an alternative therapy clinic, which treats over 100 people each month at affordable rates.
