Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome purchase I've been trying this on for two weeks now, so far, it has worked on me perfectly. My pimples are minimized, and I actually don't get new ones popping out on me. I try it on three times a day as per the instructions, before my moisturizer. I believe using it with Body Shop's tea tree pore minimizer maximized the results too. Overall, it's a great(!) product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] September 6, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST Spot Treatment I have been using the Tea Tree Oil for quite a few years now and there is no other product that compares! I always put it on any imperfections I see developing or that are already developed and within a few days its gone. I also put 2-3 drops in the water I use when I steam my face and it works wonders! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] August 29, 2016

I have my nose pierced and now I have hyper-pigmentation on my nose. Would this help fade away that pigmentation?

If so, how many times per day/ per week am I able to use this on this area?

    Answer:
The Tea Tree Oil is specifically directed towards blemishes and acne in comparison to hyper-pigmentation. Therefore, I would avoid using it as it would not be as effective.

This stuff didn't really work on my ear piercings when I had that, but when it got infected it helped.

    Answer:
    Hello Neria,

thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil. While Tea Tree is great for healing and acting as an antibacterial, it isn't going to address your hyper-pigmentation. Depending on how new your piercing is, our Trainer recommends the following:
    - 0-12 months: Tea Tree is the way to go. Applying it once in the morning and once at night;
    - If your piercing is over 12 months old, try The Body Shop's Moisture White™ Shiso Concentrated Target Perfector once a day, at night. It'll take about 28 days for you to start seeing a difference in the pigmentation.

    Hope this helps!

    Answer:
I would use the Vit E oil serum to fade away any pigmentation issues. It has helped with fading my scaring.

I'm not an expert, but the tea tree line I believe is meant for blemished/acne skin and would possibly make your situation worse. If you go into the store, they can give you a nice hefty sample to fix your issue.

    Hope this helps!?

    Answer:
Tea tree oil is more for helping out with acne rather than hyper-pigmentation. However, I do know some ways to help you out! Vitamin E oil/ enriched products are super great for skin, and helps a lot with hyper-pigmentation, and will do your skin a huge favor! Another way is to lighten your skin! This may sound scary but it's really not. I would suggest you just apply some raw honey to those over pigmented areas, since honey has lightening effects. :) I hope this helped you out!

    Answer:
You can use it as often as needed since it will not irritate your skin. However I wouldn't recommend directly using on skin that is not a blemish.

    Answer:
It is completely fine to use it everyday! I used to use it every day when I had acne, but now that it's gone I use it weekly.

    Answer:
Yes I would use this on breakout spots. It is a natural antiseptic therefore is safe to use daily. However be advised it will dry out the skin when used repeatedly on a problem area.

    Answer:
    Hi AlyStyles,

thank you for your interest in The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil. We are happy to hear that you have integrated The Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash, Tea Tree Clearing Toner and Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream into your daily routine! Tea Tree Oil is safe for every day use; however, we recommend using it as a spot treatment until you see the blemish clear, then stop using it until you see your next spot.

    Hope this helps!

    Answer:
With my knowledge and experience with essential oils such as this one, I'm pretty confident that the concentration of this oil is low enough that you can use it daily if you wanted to! I would try it for daily spot treatment, but if your skin starts to get irritated by it, I would decrease the number of times you use it. Maybe 3 times a week!

It is pure tea tree oil but it is not 100%. If you look at the bottle it says that it is only 15%.
