Rated 5 out of 5 by pinkcocohawaii pleasant smell
I bought this as something to carry around in my backpack at school, just to keep my hands fresh. I really like the smell, but I can understand the people that think it's too overpowering, because it's definitely strong. I would recommend making sure you like the smell, but it's a great product. I plan on buying more from the absinthe line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by featherdown Is this a sanitizer?
I can't figure this product out. Unlike the other gels, they are calling this one a "purifying" gel. If it's a sanitizer that kills microorganisms, why isn't that in the description anywhere? The other hand sanitizers say "Kills 99.9% of germs." If it's not, then... it's a useless product and don't buy it, because you're just rubbing some random amount of alcohol into your skin. Body Shop, please publish this info! I love The Body Shop's hand sanitizers; they're the only ones I buy.
As far as this product othewise... I like the scent, mostly. It's clean and herby, only a little too perfumed. My hands are very dry and I always put body butter (olive) on after the sanitizing gel, and the fragrance of the gel isn't too strong at all.

I like this product; the scent is nice and I enjoy using it, but it is egregiously overpriced. Less than a year ago this cost $2 full price. I was able to buy several for less than that during a sale. The price has now been increased 150%. It is not worth five dollars. It's only a 2 ounce bottle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lrb18 LOVE!
I purchased this along with the cream and I love it. Smells so clean and fresh. Took away all food and smoke odor from my hands. My co workers were not as pleased with the scent. They thought it was too strong. I love it though! Definitely starts out strong but then it dries down to a fresh, green scent. Will definitely repurchase!
