How it works:

Community Trade bergamot essential oil is known to uplift the senses and balance the emotions with a fresh green, citrus scent.
A blend of sweet orange, lemon, lime, lemongrass, cedar wood, lavender, peppermint, nutmeg, cypress, palmarosa and patchouli oils refreshes and revives the senses.

The Body Shop® difference: Our organic bergamot oil comes from the Calabria region of Italy, where the process of extracting essential oil from the peel dates back to 1700 when the whole of the community would have been involved. The pickers would hang the specially padded baskets from their ladders and or the branches and carefully place the fruit in them without bruising them. Nowadays the process has developed, but the knowledge and experience of older members continues to be valuable, for example, knowing the best time for harvesting.

Cleanse and exfoliate in the bath or shower with Energising Bergamot Body Wash and Energising Bergamot Salt Scrub. For a refreshing treat on a hot day, keep the Energising Bergamot Body Mist in the fridge before applying it to your skin. Use the Energising Bergamot Body Mist to lightly scent your linen.

Spray onto skin and gently smooth over the body with your hands. Use after a bath or shower, or as often as required.
