Create a zesty, invigorating shower experience! This refreshing, cleansing gel uses Satsuma peel essential oil to provide a natural citrus fragrance. The Satsuma Shower Gel is enriched with Community Trade Organic Soya Oil from Brazil to repair the skin’s moisture barrier, thus helping to restore smoothness and suppleness. The soap-free, lather-rich formula is less drying to the skin than soap. Complete your shower routine by exfoliating with the Satsuma Body Polish and moisturizing with the Satsuma Body Butter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Satsuma Never Had a Better Purpose This shower gel is so orange-y it's like being cluster-bombed with zesty citrus right in your very own home. It's like tangerine napalm, or the essence of Florida cleverly poured into a bottle. If I could, I would spend the rest of my life washing myself with this product and reveling in its glorious aroma. It is, however, rather powerful, so I would not recommend it to those with a sensitivity to strong scents. But if, like me, you want to bathe in the fiery waters of Valhalla, buy this product. Rated 1 out of 5 by Formula change was a mistake I have been using the Satsuma products for approximately 5 years. A friend told me awhile ago that her most recent Satsuma purchase didn't smell right. When I opened my latest shower gel I definitely agree! After reading other reviews, it appears that they have changed the formula, and NOT for the better. At this point I would say it is no better than a WalMart brand! I hope the company notifies us if and when they change back, because I will not be ordering until they do. I guess this is what happens when they try to save a buck! September 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Smells Like Fresca! If you have ever had the drink Fresca, then you know what Satsuma shower gel smells like! It is super invigorating and delicious- I can't believe I am just now discovering it. I will use this for as long as they make it. Totally obsessed! July 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Incredibly Bubbly! Unlike this scent's body mist, I rate this one 4-Star. Even though I don't prefer this particular scent, the shower gel is light-scented and man, does it lather. I absolutely LOVE all the bubbles which are fragranced ever so softly. June 11, 2013

    • Honey

We source our Community Trade honey from the UNESCO Sheka Forest Biosphere Reserve in the southern region of Ethiopia, where African bees distil the nectar of rainforest flowers to create a distinctive floral honey. To collect this precious honey, we work with the ‘bee whisperers’ of Beza Mar, a group dedicated to improving the livelihood of Ethiopian beekeeping communities and maintaining their traditional, natural way of working with bees. • Soya Oil

We source our Community Trade organic soya oil from Gebana Brazil. Gebana produces soya oil from GM-free, organically grown soya beans cultivated in the hinterlands of the Iguazu River. Gebana comprises around 350 families, mostly smallholder farmers. We have been working with them since 2006, because Gebana differs from much of the soya farming industry, which is one of the major contributors to deforestation in Brazil, by promoting sustainable farming methods and organic produce. • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: Our Community Trade organic soy oil is produced in Brazil, where industrial soy farming is driving the deforestation of the Amazon. Most of the deforestation is through burning and logging to create huge agribusiness soy farms. Because the Capanema Farmers practice sustainable farming methods without the use of chemicals, they are helping to preserve nature, as well as their traditional way of life. The Body Shop® uses about 150 tons of soy oil a year—none of which, we can happily say, contributes to the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.
