What it is designed to do:

Brush is specially designed to allow a full sweep of mascara across the lashes for maximum effect.
Community Trade marula oil from Namibia helps to condition and smooth the lashes.

How to use it: Apply the base coat to the upper lashes, sweeping from the base of the lashes upwards. Use the same technique on both upper and lower lashes to apply the top coat.

For best results, use our Eyelash Curler and Brow and Lash Comb prior to applying mascara.

Organic beeswax

Moisturizes and helps to condition dry skin, especially on your lips and around the fingernail beds. Acts as a barrier that helps to seal in moisture. Helps to keep product texture consistent when used over time. Plays a part in protecting and preserving the forest as well as providing necessary income for the beekeepers, an increasing number of which are now women.

Before applying Double Intensity mascara curl lashes using our Eyelash Curlers and comb through with The Body Shop® Makeup Brow and Lash Comb to separate the lashes.

Apply the base coat to the upper lashes, sweeping from the base of the lashes upwards. Apply the top coat to the upper and lower lashes using the same techniques.

Community Trade Information

Our Community Trade marula oil comes from the fruit of the sacred marula tree found in southern Africa. Often the spiritual center for rural activity in the village, the tree has lush and leafy foliage that offers shade for village meetings. The super-moisturizing oil is slowly cold-pressed three times by members of the Eudafano Women’s Co-operative to ensure the highest quality. The co-op, which is 100% women-owned and women-run, provides 4,800 women with financial independence in a male-dominated society.
