Rated 5 out of 5 by Mimi2 Feels like silk...
Loved this product from the 1st time I used it! Was previously using Smash Box photo primer (way more expensive). This product applies, looks, and feels every bit as wonderful as SB! I wait for The Body Shop sales (and buy several tubes).

Worst primer ever. No silky soft feeling after putting it on. No moisturizing affect. Would not reccommend.

Love love love this product! Seriously amazing! Even with moisturizer, my foundation always looked terrible before. This primer seriously transformed what my skin looks like. Foundation looked terrible AND my skin felt terrible before I started on this product. Now I use it EVERY SINGLE TIME I put on foundation. This is something everyone must own!

This primer is great for my slightly dry/combination and acne-prone skin. I've been using it for roughly the last nine months off and on, and started using it every day I would wear makeup about two months ago. It helps smooth my skin, not to the point that you can't tell that I have acne (obviously), but my skin definitely feels prepped and ready for makeup application after using this. I wait about a minute before putting my foundation and concealer on so that this can dry on my skin, because if I put my foundation on while it's still "dewy," I've noticed my makeup doesn't last as long throughout the day. I also live in Southern California, and the past two weeks have been unbearably hot and humid (hottest day I think was about 95 deg. F); but every time I've worn this primer, my face makeup has stayed in place almost perfectly throughout my 8-hour school days. I do reapply my mineral powder throughout the day though since it's a habit of mine and most of the time I need a little reapplication. To address the value of this particular primer: I really wish this was cheaper because on a college student budget, $15 at regular price is a bit expensive. I usually order this when it's on sale for about $9, which is a little more doable. I've purchased this 3 times, so that means a tube lasts roughly ~three months with 5-7 days worth of application. I am about to run out of my third tube within the next week, so I plan on visiting a TBS store or ordering online to pick up another tube and a couple other products. Overall, I recommend this primer for people with slightly dry or combination skin.
