Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft Warm Glow I have been looking for a good bronzer for a while now and this one is perfect. I have the 02 color and I am very fair/pale. When I use it, it's not too dark, not too shimmery (although there is a slight shimmer to it) and looks very natural. There is absolutely no orange hint to it. It looks like I've been out in the sun for a while rather than a tanning booth. It definitely gives a soft warm glow to my skin. It's a bit pricey but comparable with other brands. June 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by love it! I love this product! It gives the perfect glow to my skin! August 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Bronzer I just bought this bronzer (shade 2) a few days ago, and I really like it. I am fair skinned, so I like the idea of a little glow without the sun destroying my skin. It doesn't overwhelm your face with any odd, orange hues; it actually gives your face a little warmth. It also applies very easily to the brush. All I have to do it lightly tap the brush to the bronzer, and there is plenty on there, so I feel that while it is expensive, it will last me long enough to be well worth it. February 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed The 02 shade was out-of-stock, so I waited at least a month for it to come in...really disappointed as it was way too light!! You must have really fair complexion to purchase this shade, otherwise, it has no "bronzing effect" at all! The light shimmer is nice, so I'm exchanging it for the 01 shade to give it another try. I'll let you know ;) I'm thinking they need to make a shade in the middle. November 30, 2012

    • Marula Oil

We work with the Eudofano Women’s Co-operative in Ondangwa, Northern Namibia, to source our Community Fair Trade marula oil. The marula tree is held to be sacred to the people of Ovamboland, and Namibian women have traditionally used marula oil for generations to smooth and moisturise their skin. Now the 1750 Namibian women of the Eudofano Co-operative are building a business and a future on the ancient wisdom of marula. The oil they produce is cold-pressed to preserve its high quality, and enriches our products with its hydrating and smoothing properties. Learn More →

    • Olive Oil

Our Community Fair Trade organic olive oil is hand-picked and cold pressed in the Cilento National Park in southern Italy. The members of the Nuovo Cilento cooperative make oil from an indigenous variety of olives, which they grow on land handed down to them through the generations. The World Wildlife Fund first introduced us to the pioneering work of the cooperative, and we made them our sole supplier of Community Fair Trade olive oil. Now they are one of the largest producers of olive oil in the area, boasting some 300 members cultivating 2,000 hectares of land. Learn More →

    • Shea Butter

Our Community Fair Trade shea butter is sourced from northern Ghana, where it has been used for centuries to protect skin from harsh Saharan winds. We work with The Tungteiya Women’s Shea Butter Association to produce the rich shea butter we use in our products. The Body Shop provides the 528 women of the Association with a fair wage, and also pays a premium for the women to invest in community projects. Anita Roddick placed our first order in 1994 after an earlier visit to Ghana where she discovered the natural moisturizing properties of shea butter and the amazing women who produced it.
