Rated 3 out of 5 by Not bad It smells great but it's really sticky. I need something more moisturizing. Also, it tastes okay. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] November 17, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice product I like the scent and the moderate amount of glossiness that this product provides. It isn't too strong or overwhelming, and it applies nicely. I need something a bit more moisturizing for everyday use, but I do enjoy using this now and then. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] November 11, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A solid 4 stars I only use this when I want a clear gloss. It smells strongly of artificial watermelon but it still smells good. It gives a clear gloss and its not sticky but I knocked off a star because I wanted it to at least have a light pink tint. August 19, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, but sticky This gloss has a great smell and taste, adds a nice, natural shine and just a bit of color. However, it is much too sticky for my liking. Perhaps I'm just not a lip gloss person, but I was expecting something thicker and creamy, and I feel uncomfortable wearing this alone without a lip stick or thicker balm applied on top. • Beeswax

Our Community Trade honey and beeswax suppliers use hives hand made from bark, hung high in the forests, to collect our Community Trade honey. To the bees these are penthouses hung high in the trees. The honey they make is some of the finest in the world which provides deep and penetrating moisture in makeup and skincare products, as the bees visit flowers unspoiled by pollution or pesticides.

  • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: The organic beeswax in our Watermelon Born Lippy™ is supplied by our Community Trade partner, North Western Bee Products. Produced in the remote forests of northwestern Zambia, the traditional beekeeping methods ensure the preservation of the forest and the beekeepers’ way of life. The 6,000 beekeepers receive a fair price for their beeswax and honey, which can be used for necessities such as salt, soap, clothing, medicine and education. Trade is also providing more women with the opportunity to become beekeepers. In fact, between 2002 and 2004, 500 out of 2,000 new beekeepers were women!
