I bought the raspberry shade, and found that it looked and felt good on my lips and cheeks, not tight or sticky like other stains. However I think they sacrifice how long the product lasts for the lack of stickiness, as it doesn't stay on as well as other stains I've tried.

I really like this lip stain. I have tried many lipstains and I like this one best. I find the only downside is that even after you let is dry on your lips it has a funny taste for a few minutes. But I still use it all the time. I really love the color it gives, and it feels like you aren't wearing anything at all.

My lips tend to be dry, and I also have a terrible habit of peeling them sometimes. So, usually I wear a lip moisturizer (to treat & protect my lips from the dry air & from me!) that has a little color to hide the dryness and any red patches from peeling them. But I don't like wearing lip stuff when I'm eating or drinking, so I go without it all morning as I sip my tea. That's why I bought this product - to see if I can tint my lips a little and still comfortably eat & drink. And sure enough, this product is perfect for my purposes...mostly.
It's perfect because it does tint - as other have said, use multiple coats make it darker. And it's perfect because it does completely dry so that I don't feel like I have anything on my lips...and nothing greasy to rub off onto my cup or into my tea. I really love having a color that feels like nothing on! It lasts for hours, too.
Unfortunately, because it's so light - only a tint & not a gloss or lipstick, it also doesn't make dry lips look any smoother. It seems obvious now & I'm not blaming the product - it's a stain & not a coating. So it leaves my lips a healthier color but still looking dry. And if I have a patch of red - even slightly red - from peeling, the tint seems to almost highlight it rather than hide it. So, no help there.
One other issue: I chose the color marked online as 03 raspberry for its plum-like color. What I received is actually labelled 03 rouge - clearly it wasn't a mistake because it's the same number, but as the label indicates it's not as much plum-raspberry red as ruby red like Dorothy's slippers. Not my best color, but since it's a thin tint I only apply a couple of layers so my lips aren't too bright for my pale complexion.
Conclusion: I'll use it for times when I want to dress up a bit / look less pale and also want the freedom of naked lips. But the limitations mean that I can't hide chapped lips, so I'm less likely to use it in the winter. Also, I'd try another color if something truly plum comes up.

5 stars for use as liquid blush on cheeks
3.5 stars for use as a lip stain
Would DEFINITELY recommend - I have repurchased this many times and use it daily!
I initially bought this product in store and the sales rep said she thought it was best for lips, as the color (rose) was too intense for cheeks. I was looking to switch from powder blush to liquid blush and thought this might be a good option. Boy, am I glad I didn't take her advice, because this is now my most essential makeup product!
I have light but olive-toned skin, and this stain looks super natural and stays on my cheeks for hours - much longer than any powder blush. I apply with a finger onto the apples of my cheeks and blend into my cheekbones and it gives me a very fresh, subtle glow (but be careful to blend quickly, because it is a stain and will, well, stain where you put it).
I also use this on my lips but do not find it works quite as well. I love the color (I prefer to use just a dab for a translucent, subtle pink, with or without gloss on top, but you can also apply more stain for a brighter lip) but it wears off much more quickly. I generally find I have to reapply a few times throughout the day - better than goopy lipstick but not as good as some stains, although I suspect the longer-lasting stains have ingredients that I don't want on my lips to begin with!
