Rated 5 out of 5 by Why was this discontinued? I love this shampoo, it gets my hair very clean, has a nice, light smell, and helps preserve my colour. Sulphate and paraben-free shampoos are essential for me, as anything with sulphates and parabens makes my curls frizzy and completely uncontrollable. However, when I recently attempted to buy this shampoo in my local store, I was told the entire rainforest line had been discontinued. This is extremely disappointing. This was an excellent shampoo that was sulphate, paraben, and silicone-free, and was environmentally friendly. The salesperson recommended the new ginger shampoo, but it has sulphates, as does the banana shampoo. Discontinuing this line means that the body shop no longer carries any hair care products that meet my needs. April 10, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleasant Surprise I bought the mini of this to test out - it took two washes for me to get used to the texture, but now I'm a fan. It's oily in my hand, I use a bit of water to kind of emulsify it before putting it in my hair. While showering it feels a bit gross, like my hair isn't clean and the grease is weighing it down. But after just towel drying, my hair is fluffy and light and SO SOFT (even without the conditioner!). I can now go at least an extra day between washes without it feeling dirty or weighed down. For reference, I have short punky thin dyed asian hair. February 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it I recently stocked up on the Body Shop products I love when I stumbled onto their hair care line. For use, you should lather product in your hands instead of straight away putting into your hair. You will maximize your product use and get great results. I just started having my hair colored again and was not satisfied with a far more expensive product my salon recommended. I like the smell and how easily this washes out of my hair. There isn't a filmy texture and I also did get the conditioner which I comb through to the ends while I take my shower. August 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! When I had first used it, I was hesitant about the texture (felt very oily in my hand). However, it lathers well and works wonders! My hair is always so soft and light after I use this shampoo, and I usually have to blow dry my hair straight in order to achieve that effect. With this product I know I can leave my hair wet after I get out of the shower and that it will dry and look amazing - not frizzy. I will definitely purchase again! June 12, 2015
