Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the greatest. Not the best, but certainly not the worst for this price point. Smells good and lathers well. October 5, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Shouldn't this be called "de-volumizing"? I ordered this despite all the negative reviews. Silly me. Now I know it is so poorly reviewed for a reason. It made my hair oily and flat and I look like I have LESS hair after several use. Don't get why it's called volumizing shampoo as it does exactly the opposite. Bumper. July 9, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Shampoo I've ever tried I'm a loyal body shop customer and love most of their products. However, I do not recommend any of their shampoos or conditioners. It doesn't lather or clean well. You end up having to use a lot. My hair has never looked so dull and dry. April 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by One tip to make this work Through trial and error, I've discovered the best way to make this shampoo work for me is to squeeze amount I would use for one application in a previously emptied shampoo bottle, add a little warm water, shake it up, and then it's easier to distribute it through my hair. Following the instructions on the bottle: made me waste product, was time consuming, and overall didn't make the product perform as well as my method. My hair has thinned because of illness and this shampoo works well to give it body. At first using it was such pain, I regretted buying, but now I like it and may buy it again. note: This method also works for the conditioner. April 16, 2015

I read through the ingredients and saw nothing pop out as a animal-derived ingredient, but are there any hidden ingredients that are that I just don't know about?

    • Honey

We source our Community Trade honey from the UNESCO Sheka Forest Biosphere Reserve in the southern region of Ethiopia, where African bees distil the nectar of rainforest flowers to create a distinctive floral honey. To collect this precious honey, we work with the ‘bee whisperers’ of Beza Mar, a group dedicated to improving the livelihood of Ethiopian beekeeping communities and maintaining their traditional, natural way of working with bees.
