The Body Shop® difference: Our Seaweed Pore Perfector is packed with two types of seaweed, sourced from two areas of the ocean to ensure the high quality and rich source of the nutrients from these amazing marine plants. We use Community Trade, wild-harvested seaweed from Roaring Water Bay Co-operative in Ireland, as well as seaweed gathered from the French islands of Brehat, in the North Atlantic Ocean where clear waters and warm gulf streams have created some of the richest natural seaweed beds in the world. These vitamin-rich ingredients work with complementary action to help reduce sebum levels, balance oiliness, purify and condition the skin, and provide a long-lasting matte complexion.

Wild-harvested seaweed

Is renowned for its conditioning and hydrating benefits, while its non-oily nature makes it particularly suitable for normal to oily skin.

Ginger essential oil

Is known to help revive muscles and stimulate circulation whilst invigorating the senses. Has a spicy, sharp and warm scent.

Glycerin

Is an effective moisturizer which helps improve softness and maximize hydration.

Cleanse first, using Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser or Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash, to remove make-up and impurities. Exfoliate to remove dead skin cells using Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator two to three times a week. Tone using Seaweed Clarifying Toner to refresh and purify the skin whilst removing excess traces of facial wash or cleanser. Moisturise using Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Lotion SPF15 or Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream in the morning and Seaweed Clarifying Night Treatment at night.

Apply a small amount to the specific problem areas on the face after cleansing and before putting on your daily moisturizer using your fingertips. Can be used both day and night.

Community Trade Information

We use Bladderwack seaweed from The Roaring Water Bay co-operative, south west of Cork, Ireland. Set up in 1993 to address the problem so many communities face where local young people have to emigrate to find work, this co-operative protects the local environment and invests profits back into the local community.
