Papaya seed oil moisturizes skin and is rich in essential fatty acids that help to repair skin's moisture barrier, leaving skin smooth and supple.
A cleansing ingredient derived from Community Trade cocoa butter acts as a gentle detergent that creates foaming bubbles.

Use with Papaya Soap or Papaya Bath & Shower Gel. When relaxing in the bath, lay back using The Body Shop Bath Pillow and Eye Mask. When dry, moisturize with Papaya Body Butter or Papaya Dry Oil Mist.

Community Trade Information

For centuries the women of Ghana have used cocoa butter to moisturize and cool their skin in the African heat. Since 1995, The Body Shop has been buying cocoa beans from the Kuapa Kokoo company in Ghana, a fair trade co-operative with over 30,000 small-scale farmers. The money made by the co-operative enables the development of community projects such as schools and village wells in addition to providing the farmers with income to support their families.
