Rated 3 out of 5 by Works Great, Smells Awful I will be honest -- I absolutely cannot stand the scent of the Hemp line. In my opinion, it just smells so unbelievably disgusting. However, with that said this foot treatment works very well. Seriously. If you can tolerate the smell, it is a worthwhile investment. Thanks to very high arches my feet get pretty dry and calloused on the heals and on the lateral side of the balls of my feet. So, despite not liking the smell, I decided to try this foot protector when it was on sale, since it had such great reviews. I figured that since it was going on my feet, I could tolerate it better than the hand cream. Well, I was partially correct. This treatment works great at softening and moisturizing the skin, which was impressive since I've tried a number of things that just weren't nearly as effective (particularly for my heals). I usually apply it at night and put on some cotton socks until it all soaks in, or I sleep in the socks. Overall, the treatment works well. However, I was wrong about my being able to tolerate the smell. I really do not like putting it on, because I simply can't stand it, and I hate having it on my hands. I can't just wash my hands after using it either (which I would after handling my feet regardless), but I have to apply some other lotion or body butter to my hands just to get counteract the Hemp scent. So, while it really does work incredibly well, the scent is just too much of a turn off for me. It just isn't worth the price to me to have such an unpleasant experience. I don't even think I would buy it again on sale. I'll just have to find a different treatment for my feet once I use this stuff up. July 16, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Does the job- but greasy and unpleasant smelling It does the job, but I find it is greasy and does not smell that great. I find it is quite expensive for the amount you get in the jar. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] July 14, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! Bought this yesterday. Have applied it and put on socks several times. My rough heels are gone. Better than a pedicure, December 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Heel Cream on the Market I have tried just about everything and this is the only product I have found to keep my heels smooth and soft. Love It!! I have recommended to all of my friends. I Wish it was just a little bit less expensive. November 10, 2015

  • KEY INGREDIENTSShow

    • Beeswax

Our Community Trade honey and beeswax suppliers use hives hand made from bark, hung high in the forests, to collect our Community Trade honey. To the bees these are penthouses hung high in the trees. The honey they make is some of the finest in the world which provides deep and penetrating moisture in makeup and skincare products, as the bees visit flowers unspoiled by pollution or pesticides.

    • Hemp

We source our hemp seed oil from a co-operative of small scale family farms in France. The hemp they grow is so resistant to rain that pesticides aren't needed, and are cold-pressed to extract the purest seed oil for its natural moisturizing benefits. Our Trade partnership with the family farm's have provided them with job opportunities, while providing The Body Shop with skin care products, including our #1 best-selling Hemp Hand Protector.

  • about productShow

The Body Shop® difference: At one time or another, we all suffer from the effects of dry skin. Exposure to Nature’s elements and working and playing outdoors can cause the skin to lose much needed moisture. This moisture needs to be replaced, otherwise skin becomes dry, rough, cracked and sore. Our Hemp range is exceptionally rich in essential fatty acids to give dry skin the extra attention it needs, which a regular moisturizer can’t always provide. Its green, slightly nutty, earthy scent appeals to both men and women and comes from hemp oil’s natural smell, so there’s no heavy added fragrance to aggravate sensitive dry skin.
